Setup guide

Connect Apple Health.

Bring your labs and body data into Hitt Fitness in under a minute. Read access only — your data stays under your control.

Before you start

Make sure the values you want are already in the iOS Health app. Lab results often arrive through the Health Records feature when you connect a healthcare provider, while body metrics may come from a smart scale or manual entry.

  1. Open Lab Results in Hitt Fitness

Go to the Labs tab and tap the "Pull from Apple Health" card at the top of the screen.

  2. Grant read access

iOS will ask which data types Hitt Fitness can read — lipids, glucose, body composition, blood pressure, vitamins, hormones, and inflammation markers. Turn on the ones you want and tap Allow.

  3. Let the import run

Hitt Fitness reads your most recent values and clinical records, then shows a confirmation banner — for example, "Imported 5 values: LDL, HDL, glucose…"

  4. Review your markers

Each imported marker appears with its status badge (Low, Optimal, Borderline, or High) against its optimal range, plus short, actionable advice.

What gets imported

Don't see a value? Enter it manually — tap any marker on the Lab Results screen, type the value and unit, and confirm. It's saved locally to your device.

Privacy & permissions

Hitt Fitness requests read-only access and never writes back to Apple Health. Nothing is imported until you tap to pull it, and you can revoke access anytime in the iOS Health app under Sharing → Apps. For the full picture, see our Privacy Policy.

Troubleshooting

The import found nothing

Confirm the values actually exist in the Health app, and that you enabled those categories when granting access. You can re-open the permission screen in Settings → Health → Data Access & Devices → Hitt Fitness.

Lab results aren't showing up

Clinical lab values usually require connecting your provider in Health → Summary → Add Account (Health Records). Once connected, run the import again.
