How can we help?

Quick answers to the questions we hear most. Still stuck? Email support@hittfitness.com and a human will follow up.

Getting started

How do I set up my plan?

Open Settings and enter your stats — sex, age, height, weight, activity level, and goal (lose fat, maintain, or gain muscle). Your coach uses these with the Mifflin-St Jeor formula to build daily energy and macro targets.

Can I use imperial units?

Yes. Switch between imperial and metric anytime in Settings — heights and weights convert automatically.

Tracking & nutrition

How does label scanning work?

Tap the camera icon on the Track screen and choose a photo of a nutrition label. Hitt Fitness reads the facts on-device using Apple Vision — your photos never leave your phone.

What if a food isn't recognized?

You can always log manually. Start typing a food name for database suggestions, or enter the macros yourself and adjust the serving size.

What does "best fit" do on a meal swap?

It ranks meal ideas for that slot by how well they fit your remaining calorie and protein budget for the day, so the suggestion at the top keeps you on target.

Labs & Apple Health

How do I import my bloodwork?

On the Lab Results screen, tap "Pull from Apple Health." See the Apple Health setup guide for the full walkthrough, including clinical records.

What do the status badges mean?

Each marker is compared to optimal and acceptable ranges and tagged Low, Optimal, Borderline, or High, with short, actionable advice. These are educational, not a diagnosis.

Supplements

How are supplements rated?

Each product is scored by the strength of its evidence — Strong, Moderate, Weak, or Unproven — and when the science is weak we suggest a food alternative instead.

Privacy

Where is my data stored?

Your logs are stored locally on your device, label scanning runs on-device, and nothing is pulled from Apple Health unless you import it yourself. Read more in our Privacy Policy.
